Schedule

This course will allow rolling enrolments.   Purchase your place in the course and you will be contacted in regard to your enrolment and start date.   The date of 1 December 2020 is a nominal date to ensure this course is available for purchase.

Prerequisites

Entry to this program requires learners to hold a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification.    Students must produce a certified copy of their Statement of Attainment or a USI Transcript for validation of holding the TAE40110 qualification.

- You must complete a compulsory pre-training review before attending class.

Prior to your enrolment a pre-training review will be conducted with you to confirm that the course you are seeking to enrol into meets your individual needs. The link will be emailed to you upon your booking. Failure to complete the pre-training review before class will incur a $20 administration fee for a booking cancellation or transfer.

- You must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to enrol in an accredited course. You can apply or get more information at www.usi.gov.au.

Description

This unit provides the skills and knowledge a vocational trainer or assessor requires to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of training and the work environment, and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learner group. The unit applies to individuals who teach, train, assess and develop resources. Competence in this unit does not indicate that a person is a qualified specialist adult language, literacy or numeracy practitioner.  This cousre providers learners with one of the ASQA required units to be eligible to be employed in the Australian VET sector.
