Prerequisites

Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck

It is recommended to undertake Forklift Refresher Training 18 to 24 months after obtaining a Forklift Licence

Photo identification (including date of birth)

Description

This training aims to renew the forklift operating skills of personnel by providing refresher training to verify current competency.

Course content includes:

  • Theory training including health & safety requirements
  • Operator safety checks to be taken before using a forklift truck
  • Practical training and demonstration of skills of each participant
  • Safe operation of a forklift within the work environment
  • Potential risks of operating a forklift truck and how to avoid workplace accidents
