Prerequisites

Licence to Perform Rigging - Basic Level

18 years of age

Obtained the unit CPCCLRG3001A - Licence to perform rigging basic level

You must have a Unique Student Identifier number

What You Learn

You will gain skills required in the Construction, Maintenance & General Crane Hire Industries for the following tasks:

- Erection of Pre-Cast Tilt up Panels

- Multiple Crane Lifts

- Complex Rigging of Cranes and more

What You Get

Upon sucessful completion of assessment, you will be issued with a WorkSafe Notice of Assessment. This is to be lodged at Australia Post to enable you to apply for a Licence to Perform High Risk Work for Rigging Intermediate Level (Class RI) - a fee of $60 is required upon lodgment to Australia Post.

You will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following unit:

CPCCLRG3002A - Licence to Perform Rigging Intermediate Level

Materials to Bring

2 passport quality and sized photos - one for student records and another for licence lodgment at Australia Post

Pen and notepaper

Dress Code

Casual clothing with covered footwear

Description

Content:

  • Erection and dismantling of (rigging) cranes
  • Erection of tilt slabs
  • Dual crane lifts
  • Demolition of structures
  • Erection and dismantling of mast climbers
  • Use of load equalising gear
