Dress Code

Solid enclosed footwear - NOT runners (Steel capped work boots are best)

Cotton clothing - NOT tracksuit pants / NO nylon

Long pants - Jeans are ideal but they MUST NOT have frayed edges

Long sleeved shirt or top

A pair of overalls is the best option, but not compulsory

Description

Course Description

The VCE VET Electrical Industry Program provides students with skills and knowledge to enhance their entry level employment prospects in apprenticeships and traineeships in a range of industries. The industry specialisations are: Electrical, Electronics, Refrigeration, and Mechanical. It also provides pathways to new skills as new technologies are adopted, especially in energy efficiency and sustainability as described above.  Students must be in Year 11

Contributions to the VCE

VCE VET Electrical Industry provides a Unit 1-4 sequence for satisfactory completion purposes.Students undertaking the program are eligible for credit of up to five VCE VET units on their VCE Statement of Results: three units at Unit 1-2 level and two at Unit 3-4 sequence.Students may accumulate VCE VET units over more than one year.This certificate will satisfy learning outcomes for the industry specific skills and work related skills strands in the VCAL program.
