The following is course content and information to inform the development of the Skills Maintenance component of the Continuing Professional Development requirements for holders of a Restricted Electrical Workers Licence (REL) Class 2 covered in 3 Topics being:
Topic 1: Your Responsiblities;
Topic 2: Major Changes to Acts, Regulations and Standards;
Topic 3: Safe Isolation

Non Accredited Training
This course is non-accredited which means no Unit of Competency is completed, no assessment is required and no Statement of Attainment will be issued.
Materials to Bring
All candidates must present to the practical class with:
REL Electrical Licence credentials
Multi Meter/ Volt meter
Digital or analogue IRC tester
Basic hand tools
LOTO kit for isolation/Disconnect/Reconnect
Long pants
Long sleeve top
Enclosed foot wear
Safety eye wear
Electrical Gloves (recommended)
Pen and notepaper.
Photo identification (including your date of birth).
Dress Code
Appropriate PPE as per "Materials to Bring"
Description
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is the means by which electrical licence holders can maintain, improve, broaden and enhance their knowledge skills and competence.
The Skills Maintenance training will be specific to every class of licence, and will be mandatory for every electrical licence held.
This course provides the manadated professional development required by Energy Safe Victoria before renewal of your Electrical Licence.
Students must complete a Short course Enrolment Form, provide Photo ID and a copy of their Electrical Licence to be enrolled in this course.
