Location:  Furniture making shed at Sherwood Park Campus (Near Deakin University)

What You Learn

In this course, you will learn the basic skills to effectively use furniture making hand tools including building your own coffee table.

Furniture making skills;

Statement of participation; and

Take home your self made coffee table as demonstrated in course photo.

  • How to use furniture making joining methods
  • Construction of a wooden coffee table
  • Finishing methods of a wooden coffee table
  • Evaluation of finshed product.
